Keynote Speaker:
The Rev. Dave Daubert, D. Min., Ph. D.
Dave Daubert is a second career pastor who first worked as an engineer at
Caterpillar in Peoria, IL. After attending Trinity Lutheran Seminary (M.Div.,
S.T.M.) he served as a parish pastor in Columbus, OH. While there he also
earned a Doctor of Ministry in preaching from the Lutheran School of Theology at
Chicago. He then served as Assistant to the Bishop for Urban and
Multicultrual Ministries in Omaha, NE and while there received his Ph.D. in
Theological Studies from the Graduate Theological Foundation in South Bend, IN.
He is currently the Director for Renewal of Congregations for the Evangelical
Lutheran church in America where he oversees the nationwide renewal and
transformational work for the unit for Evangelical Outreach and Congregational
Mission. He is a frequent keynote speaker and workshop presenter and the
author of several articles and resources including contributing to A Story
Worth Sharing, as well as articles in Net Results, Emphasis,
The Lutheran, TransformingChurch.com, and others. His latest
book is Living Lutheran: Renewing Your Congregation. In addition,
he is pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Elgin, IL where he lives and works with
his wife Marlene (a social worker/diaconal minister at Zion Lutheran Church) and
their two children Erin and Nathan.
